Curriculum

I use a fantastic curriculum that creatively weaves together art projects, music, storytelling, math games and science experiments around a monthly theme.  Each month, my activities teach a balance of preschool skills and learning objectives.

Art is an important part of my preschool program. It is through art that the children discover color, texture, and where they learn how to  put pieces together to make whole parts.

     Shape Art
Each month your child will receive a journal where he will practice writing letters and number numbers as well as drawing different shapes.
They will also build literacy skills with their very own “I Can Read Book.” They use picture clues to read the simple words and practice seeing letters in print. I Can Read Books reinforce basic sight words.

Letter Cards

Children build letter recognition and letter-sound connections by playing with the letter cards, letter pointers and picture tags.

Math Mats

Children use foam shape manipulatives to copy outlined shapes on the Math Mat. Three levels allow children to increase the challenge as they build skill
