About Me

I am Miss Erin.  I am married to Mike, and we have 5 children ages 8-17.  I grew up in New Mexico and Oklahoma watching my mother teach kindergarten for 26 years.  I loved going into her class and helping her get all of the projects ready for her classes!
Aside from being a busy soccer mom, my spare time is spent  playing the keyboard in the Shane Lee Band, cooking, gardening , and hiking.
I graduated from  Utah State University and with a degree in Music Therapy. I studied  the effects of music on the brain and behavior.  I was able to do my practicums in a special needs class where I worked especially with children who have autism.  I also worked in a center for people with mental illnesses.  I completed my internship in an assisted living center and nursing home.  My two passions in life are music and children. I LOVE that I get to combine the two by teaching preschool!

My family moved to  Lehi 10 years ago. We have loved it here and are proud to call it home.  I have been very active in Snow Springs Elementary and Dry Creek Elementary’s PTAs and have been a regular volunteer in my children’s classrooms for the last 10 years.  I am currently the secretary on the Lehi High School School Community Council.  I love being involved with the schools!  I have also taught piano for 15 years.  Teaching is very rewarding to me, I love being able to see the successes of my students after they have worked hard to learn something!
My mission as a preschool teacher is to recognize the unique gifts of each child in my care. I pledge to nurture these gifts and provide a safe and stimulating environment. My goal is for each child to grow emotionally, socially, and academically. I am committed to laying the foundation of a lifetime of learning.

Hi, I'm Miss Mandy. I'm the mommy of 3 lovely girls and 1 handsome boy. I have been married to the wonderful Mr. Lloyd for 15 years. I love serving in my church and being involved in my community.  I love all types of creating. I am a reader, writer, sewer, crafter, baker (not that great yet), and budget decorator. One of my goals in this life is to write children's books and historical fiction novels. One day... sigh.

I have been running my home based preschool for 11 years now. I love children and delight in being able to be a part of their early education. What started out as a way for me to be involved in my oldest daughters early education has now turned into my passion.

My mission as a preschool teacher is to  provide a warm, loving place where parents can feel good about leaving their children. I want to provide the children with an environment in which they can grow emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. I want to instill in the children a love of learning and a delight in discovering new things.

I want the children in my care to have fun and be excited and enthusiastic about learning because I provide fun and stimulation activities and materials. I want them to feel safe and secure, both physically and emotionally, and to feel that they belong.

I want to meet my responsibilities to my own family and respect their individual rights as I operate my preschool business in our home. I want to feel good about myself because I am growing and operating a successful business in which I am being rewarded monetarily and emotionally for the work that I do.

I am available at during the day to answer questions and address concerns parents have about their children. I will work more with children who need extra help in kindergarten readiness. I will provide more stimulation to children who have already met kindergarten standards.

I want to have fun with the children and hear them express their joys. I want to have parties and go on fieldtrips to explore the world around us. And lastly, I want to build lasting relationships with the children I teach and their parents. This is what it's all about!
