Policies and Procedures

Drop off/ Pick up
Class begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week.   Most days I will have your children ready to go home about 5 minutes before class ends. Pleas drop off and pick up your child on time as we have set routines and various art projects that may require the entire class to finish.  Upon drop offs and pick ups, it is important that you do your best to not block the mailbox or driveway of my neighbors. When dropping off and picking up, please park along the curb right in front of my house (not across the street unless you are getting out of your car to walk your child across). I want to avoid any cars having to back up or children crossing the street.

I understand that situations may arise when you may be late picking up your child from school. However, if it does become a problem (3 or more times) I reserve the right to charge a late fee of $10.00 for every 10 minutes that you are late.   Please be courteous of my time and call me if you are going to be late. I’m very understanding and always appreciate communication.  With that being said, I love what I do and am very flexible.

 Field Trips
We will be going on various field trips throughout the year. These trips will be based on our monthly themes and should be a lot of fun. Field trips will depend upon parent volunteers to help transport and help with the activities. They will be cancelled if I don’t have enough volunteers.  They are also subject to change based on the weather.

Sickness
If I need to cancel class due to sickness on my part or that of my family I will refund tuition for that day OR have a make up day. Please understand that I am committed to teaching your child and will do my best to hold class as planned.

Scheduled Days Off
I take the same holidays and development days as Alpine School district. I will provide you with a list of these days.

Misc I.
I realize that unforeseen problems can arise and there may be conflicts or concerns that need addressed. Please feel free to come to me and we can discuss anything. These are your children and you are welcome to come and observe anytime. I do not foresee any problems caused by accident or injury of any children but please be aware that the homeowners (Brent and Amanda Lloyd) are not responsible for accident or loss while your child is attending preschool. The parent is required to have their child covered with medical insurance as well as updated immunizations.
